We only accept Medicaid (Husky A, C, D). Our focus is on providing effective Acupuncture treatments, which often require consistent visits, especially in the initial stages of care. Many private insurance companies tend to limit visits (typically 10-20 per year), which might only cover a month of consistent treatment, and can also restrict coverage to specific pain codes. Please note that Chinese Herbal Medicine is generally not covered by insurance.
Yes, absolutely! You can use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for our services.
While we are considered out-of-network with most insurance plans, we are happy to provide you with a "superbill" (an itemized receipt for services). You can then submit this superbill directly to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your out-of-network benefits. Please don't hesitate to ask us for one!
Life can be unexpected, we understand. Please be aware that **any late cancellation or no-show for initial and regular Acupuncture appointments will incur a $50 fee.** To avoid this, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment if you need to reschedule or cancel. This policy applies to all patients, including those on the Unlimited Acupuncture plan and those with Chinese Herbal Medicine appointments.
We securely keep a card on file to protect scheduled appointment times and minimize last-minute cancellations, which allows us to maintain availability and fairness for all our patients. This also streamlines the checkout process, enabling us to focus entirely on your treatment. Please be assured that your card will never be charged without your prior knowledge, and we will always communicate clearly regarding our policies. This is a standard practice in many healthcare settings, helping us provide consistent, high-quality care and a smoother experience for you.
